  1. The Outskirts were a London band who released their first single Blue Line on True Religion records in 1981. It made single of the week in Sounds magazine and was compared it to Teenage Kicks. Blue Line was covered by US group Let's Active with Mitch Easter. The Outskirts later signed to Glass records and released the album Heaven's on the Move in 1985, which Standing Together is on. They also released another single on Glass Records - Down. The Outskirts toured a lot in Germany and played throughout the 80s in many London and other UK venues.
